Education:

Qingbin earned his Ph.D. in agricultural economics with a minor in statistics from Iowa State University in 1994. Prior to joining UVM in October 1995, Dr. Wang worked as a research associate at the University of Delaware for 1.5 years.

Bio/Interests:

Qingbin Wang is an associate professor in the Department of Community Development and Applied Economics at the University of Vermont. Dr. Wang has published more than 25 refereed articles and presented more than 40 invited or selected papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Wang’s current research interest is to provide economic and market information to farmers, rural communities, small business, and policymakers through applied economic and market research.
