Bio/Interests:
Charles Kerchner was born in Boston Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree in Anthropology with a Minor in Economics & Business from Lafayette College in 2000. Charles spent three years working in Latin America and the Caribbean. He studied in Guatemala and Mexico and worked in the Dominican Republic, as an Agro-forestry Peace Corps volunteer (2001-2003), where he focused on watershed restoration, sustainable agriculture and bio-diversity issues. His most recent work has been with watershed and GIS related topics in St. Lucia and with value-added wood products in the Northern Forest. Charles main interests are in international development, agricultural economics and watershed management.
His hobbies include skiing, mountain biking and surfing (when not in Vermont).
