Bio/Interests:
Thomas Patrick DeSisto is a full-time employee at the Center for Rural Studies and a part-time CDAE graduate student.
Thomas has co-authored two peer-reviewed journal articles on issues of consumer information and awareness issues and has worked on projects related to sustainable agriculture, economic development, parks and recreation use, information technology in Vermont and in developing areas (Honduras). He is also heavily involved in local community action projects in Burlington, Vermont related to downtown development (member of the Dev. Review Board) and community issues (spokesperson for his local neighborhood association). Thomas has been (2004) and will be the director of the 2005 Vermonter Poll, conducted annually by the CRS.
