Full Time Lecturer Communication and Computer Literacy
The University of Vermont (UVM) invites applicants for a Full Time Lecturer position within the Department of Community Development and Applied Economics (CDAE).
We seek a colleague to enhance the experience of First-Year students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences by instructing Foundational courses covering the topics of public speaking, computer literacy, and acclimation to college life. Additionally, this colleague will advise undergraduate students and teach Public Communication courses.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion through their teaching, have the desire to work in a transdisciplinary environment, and meet the demands of a Research I university. Individuals with a PhD or Master’s Degrees are invited to apply.
Applications will be reviewed beginning December 1, 2012 and will be accepted until the position is filled. Funding has been secured for the position and the successful candidate is expected to start in the fall of 2013.
