Meagan grew up in Pineville, Louisiana, a small town with a paper-mill in the middle of nowhere. After graduating highschool, she moved to Baton Rouge to attend Lousiana State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics from the E.J. Ourso College of Business, and was forced to watch football until she came to enjoy it. During college and after, while living in Boston, Meagan worked for local, independent business where she developed an understanding of their importance to the local development of both the community and the local economy. Meagan plans to open her own small business down in New Orleans.
