Lecturer

Margo Whitcomb is a director, actor, and educator. Her recent credits include the US premiere of Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes (Bridge St. Theatre/NY), World premiere of Whipporwill (CSC-NJ, ) The Niceties ( MACO-VT),  A Doll’s House Part 2 (VT Stage), Solo performer in Shakespeare’s WIll (Lost Nation Theatre), The Santaland Diaries with Jason Lorber (VT Tour), A Fleeting Animal (opera by David Budbill and Eric Nielson, VT Tour), narrator in Bright Green Movie, in actor in A Juddering and developing The Pink Backpack (James Lantz, film director).  Upcoming projects include the Regional premiere of East of Berlin by Canada’s “hottest indie playwright” Hannah Msocovitch and moving the US premiere of Misconduct (59E.59th street NYC) February 2024. Formerly Associate Artistic Director at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and Artistic Director of Half Moon Theatre in the Hudson Valley, Whitcomb has been a regional theatre director for decades and taught acting and other topics widely.
