Sound & Light Technician - School of the Arts

Craig joined the School of the Arts Theatre and Dance Tech Team in the fall of 2023.  “Lighting up people’s lives for a living” has been the Craig’s motto throughout his professional career.  Travelling where the work takes him, he has worked with a wide variety of people and just as many places whether it’s outside in the Badlands of North Dakota or in the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

Prior to relocating in Vermont, Craig worked at/for various theatre companies across the country.  Some favorites include Skylight Music Theatre in Wisconsin, Barter Theatre in Virginia, and Wheelock Family Theatre in Massachusetts.  He has been fortunate to have toured as well with The Kennedy Center, Chamber Theatre Productions, and Windwood Productions.

Craig received his BA in Communications and Theatre from the University of Denver and his MFA in Theatrical Production from Ohio University.  He is credited as the original Lighting Designer for the productions of Wise Women, and Man of Constant Sorrow as well as several design mentions in the textbook, Fundamentals of Theatrical Design.
