The Champlain Thrust newsletter is a memorable UVM Geology Department tradition.  We hope you enjoy reading about the activities of the department and of each other.

The newsletter is named for a unique, local, geologic feature known as the  "Champlain Thrust." The thrust fault is acutally a "reverse thrust" because the older Dolostone is above the younger Shale. The newsletter is a good mix of the old and the new.

Send your news to geology@uvm.edu, and please include the subject line "alumni news."  If you include a photo, then please attach it as a jpg file. Thank you, and we look forward to receiving your news.
