Fall is on our doorstep and within a few weeks we will be graced with the colors that make Vermont one of the most special places on earth. In late August we welcomed 1,211 first-year students to the College. By many measures (e.g., SATs, class rank) the class of 2020 is the highest achieving entering class in the College’s recent history. Read more.

Aiken Lecture Series: Dr. Paul Farmer
Dr. Paul Farmer, physician and anthropologist, is chief strategist and co-founder of Partners In Health, Kolokotrones University Professor, and chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His lecture To Save the World: Dr. Farmer Speaks to the Next Generation will take place November 3rd at 5:30 PM in Ira Allen Chapel. Read more.
Paving the Way for Women in Science
As a young girl, Haley Wahl loved stargazing. She could do it for hours. When her parents got her a telescope, stargazing took on a higher level of interest and soon studying the sky became her passion. By high school she had participated in a program that allowed her to visit the University of New Hampshire and work with an astrophysics professor on a research project. Full Story.
