Students who successfully complete their College Honors thesis will receive their certificate at the College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony at the University of Vermont.

The presentation of Honors certificates and departmental awards is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 in the Ira Allen Chapel. Please plan to arrive by 2:50 p.m. and sit in the front center section of Ira Allen to facilitate receiving your certificate. Family members are welcome to attend and should sit in the pews. I ask that all students receiving recognition be dressed appropriately (e.g., no jeans, flip flops, baseball caps), as a group photo of the certificate recipients will be taken. A brief keynote address will be delivered by Associate Professor of Chemistry and Associate Dean Joel Goldberg.

A reception for students, family members, guests, and faculty will be held in Billings immediately following the Awards Ceremony.

If you plan to attend this event, I request that you RSVP no later than Wednesday, May 11th by contacting Craig Wells at craig.wells@uvm.edu or 656-3702. If you are receiving departmental award recognition and have already sent your RSVP, you do not need to send another.
