Micah Wood works in a variety of media including painting, book arts, and performance. The imagery found throughout Wood’s work oscillates between found images and advertising to automatic drawings and observational sketches. Wood’s paintings lie at the nexus of abstraction and figuration and seek to create a distinctive vision of his environment.
