Investing in UVM Is Investing in Vermont’s Future

The objectives of the Vermont Regional Campaign are four-fold:

  1. Further educate the citizens of the State of Vermont about the role of the University of Vermont in advancing economic development, healthcare, sustainable agriculture, education — early childhood, elementary, and secondary, the arts, technology, and preservation of the natural resources and landscape of the Green Mountain State;
  1. Stimulate giving from alumni, parents, and friends in Vermont, with an emphasis on increasing funding for scholarships for Vermont students and meeting Vermont’s critical needs;
  1. Increase financial support from Vermont businesses through a targeted corporate campaign; and
  1. Generate enthusiasm and pride for the University and The Campaign for the University of Vermont from alumni, parents, and friends living in Vermont.

The Vermont Regional Campaign began on July 1, 2006, and concludes on June 30, 2007, in conjunction with the conclusion of the $250-million Campaign for the University of Vermont.

A Vermont Campaign Advisory Committee comprised of alumni, parents, and friends of the University living in Vermont is leading the outreach, public relations, and fund raising efforts. Committee co-chairs are Frank Cioffi '77 and Penrose Jackson '70.
