The Doris and Julian Malkiel Scholarship Fund
The Doris and Julian Malkiel Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 by Julian Malkiel in memory of his late wife, Doris and out of their mutual respect for domesticated animals and the talented doctors of veterinary medicine who care for them.
To be eligible, students must be in good academic standing and qualify financially according to UVM's Financial Aid Office. Students must have declared an intention to pursue a career in veterinary medicine or is/are enrolled in a pre-vet curriculum and has/have demonstrated through his/her/their academic performance a level of preparedness and proficiency suitable for admission to vet school. The scholarship may be awarded to more than one student and is for full time undergraduate students currently enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and who has/have achieved junior or senior status. Students must comply/complies with residency requirements for in-state status.
This scholarship is given out by the CALS Student Services Office.
