Evan Walden wears a few different hats when it comes to his career. He is currently a full-time sales representative for Dow AgroSciences in Southern California, but spends a good chunk of his time working on West Coast Business Development for a new company called TerraShift. TerraShift was founded by another UVM student in 2008 and supplies its clients with on-demand project staffing in the form of versatile, multi-disciplinary teams of young professionals. The pilot is underway in Pittsburgh, PA.
Walden was a Marketing concentration and believes that the Business School provided a classroom environment that fostered creativity.
"I'll never forget the worldly travels of (Professor) David Jones ... or the logical breakdown of the financial crisis from (Professor) Kevin Chiang," said Walden. "These elements brought a real world feel to the classroom, and helped me connect my learnings to the outside world."
