Bob is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Courier Corporation, a book publishing and printing company headquartered in North Chelmsford, MA. Courier's publishing operations include Research & Education Association, a publisher of test preparation and study guides, Creative Homeowner, a publisher of home improvement and gardening books and Dover Publications, which publishes a wide range of books including art, children's books, crafts, music scores, graphic design, classics of literature, mathematics, and science. Courier manufactures books in six plants in the U.S. specializing in the manufacture of textbooks, Bibles and special interest consumer books. Bob has been with Courier since 1986. He has been Chief Operating Officer since 2006 and before that he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Courier is traded on the NASDAQ National market under the symbol CRRC.

Bob was President of Medica Corporation from 1983 to 1986, a business he founded with two partners to develop lower cost, simple to use medical diagnostics equipment. Medica is a private company that today ships a wide range of sophisticated medical devices around the globe.

From 1978 to 1983, Bob was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Orion Research Inc., a company that developed and manufactured scientific instrumentation based in Cambridge, MA.

Bob started his business career at Arthur Andersen & Co., an international public accounting firm, where he worked from 1975 to 1978. During this period, he earned his CPA.

Bob holds an MBA from the Johnson School, Cornell University and a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont.
