- By Elizabeth Parent
Five University of Vermont MBA students will head to Montreal January 6 to 11, 2013 to compete in the oldest and largest case competition of its kind in the world.
The John Molson International Case Competition features 35 schools from around the world.
The UVM team is comprised of Chloe Cangardel, Jennifer Swain, Erin Creley, Katharina Schaal and Patty McShane; they are coached by John Monahan, of the School of Business Administration. The group spent much of the fall semester preparing for the competition where they will tackle seven business cases studies, including one “live” case study.
According to John Molson officials, this year’s event will have the greatest number of international competitors in the history of the competition. The teams will compete for the Concordia Cup and up to $10,000 in prize money.
