Executive MBA Students from Switzerland Visit UVM

Sixteen Executive MBA students from Fribourg, Switzerland, along with two academic advisors are visiting the University of Vermont School of Business Administration for the next two weeks.

The students will join UVM's MBA students in core marketing, production, accounting, and organizational studies classes and work on projects with our MBA students.  They will also visit several Vermont businesses including, BioTek, Burton Snowboards, Huber & Suhner, Dealer.com, Pizzagalli Construction, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

"The presence of the Fribourg students in turn presents an important opportunity for their UVM peers to broaden their own understanding of salient business issues by examining them from a different cultural perspective," said Professor Michael Gurdon, associate dean of graduate studies at the School of Business Administration.

The Fribourg students will also have the opportunity to meet Madeleine Kunin, Vermont's only Swiss-born Governor and later US Ambassador to Switzerland.
