Course Overview:
The course covers basic concepts of data communications, networking, and network management and security. Focus is on local area networking (LAN) technologies and protocols. Includes various hands on lab-based exercises.
Prerequisites:
BSAD 141, BSAD majors or minors, CSIS, EMGT majors; Minimum junior standing; Notebook PC with specific software required; Required course specific fee of $20; Degree students only even after level restriction removed; CE students register for BSAD 146 ZRA.
