ACCESS Services are confidential. Current, comprehensive documentation of disability is required. Students are assigned a specialist to:

  • Determine reasonable & appropriate accommodations & services
  • Provide advisement and advocacy on disability-related issues
  • Consult with faculty and staff

Where students help students learn

Visit the Learning Cooperative to work with a peer tutor to:

  • Create an efficient study system
  • Focus on time management
  • Improve textbook reading and notetaking
  • Reduce test anxiety
  • Understand the content of your most challenging courses

Our Services Are:

  • Individual or group tutoring
  • Scheduled or drop-in tutoring
  • Group study in introductory courses

Student Support Services (SSS) Program provides:

  • Professional Mentoring
  • Laptop Lending Program

UVM also provides connections to college for high school students through Upward Bound (UB) Program, which includes:
