HON 101: This one-credit thesis preparation seminar is offered during the spring semester, and is required for all CAS/HC students (those studying abroad during this semester can have this requirement waived). Students will actually produce their thesis or creative project) proposal in this seminar, and submit it to the College of Arts and Sciences Committee on Honors for approval.
HON 195: These three-credit special topics seminars will change semester to semester. Each of the courses offered will examine the production and assessment of knowledge in particular areas of the arts and sciences. Each course will be limited to 20 students. These courses are structured similarly to HCOL 195 seminars.
HON 201: This zero-credit seminar is required for all seniors writing their senior thesis. Students meet a number of times each semester. In the fall, the thesis process is discussed, and students share their ideas and project topics. In the spring, students share their research findings with the seminar.
