Dave sees a natural connection between his major in mechanical engineering and his goal of attending medical school. His research in lower back pain, as well as his work in developing a knee simulator, heighten his mechanical understanding; his volunteer time in Fletcher Allen Hospital gives him hands-on access to the orthopedic branch of medicine he's passionate about. Dave is just one of many undergraduates at UVM studying, researching, working, and receiving top-notch advisement every step of the way.
