Note for visitors with special needs: If your visit should require accommodations for a physical disability, please let us know a week in advance.
Get a glimpse of all that UVM offers by attending an information session and student-guided group tour. Most programs include a viewing of our admissions DVD and a presentation by an admission counselor with a general overview of UVM and the admissions process. Our student guides will share their experiences as you tour campus. These programs generally last about two hours.
Meet our tour guides! They'll share their experiences with you as you tour campus, but learn a little before the tour. Meet UVM Advocats.

Admitted Student Visit Days are offered each spring to admitted students and their families. This day-long program is designed exclusively with accepted students in mind.

For those unable to attend an ASV Day
Can't make it to one of our ASV Days? We also offer a shorter program called an Admitted Student Information Session (ASIS) on selected dates this spring. Our ASIS program includes a short presentation with an admissions counselor, a student panel and a tour of campus — all tailored to admitted students.
We strongly encourage students seeking an in-depth look at academics to attend an Admitted Student Visit Day (ASV) because the Admitted Student Information Session (ASIS) does not include a session on academics.
Schedule your visit: See our calendar; make a reservation online; make a reservation by phone (802) 656-3370; cancel your reservation online; cancel/modify your reservation by phone (802) 656-3370.
Optional, informal conversations with one of our AdvoCat student admissions representatives are a great opportunity to learn more about UVM. These 20-minute one-on-one chats are designed to answer your questions from a student perspective. Please call (802) 656-3370 to make an appointment in advance of your visit.
If you wish to attend a class or meet with a faculty member, we can often accommodate such requests during the academic semesters. Please allow two weeks notice; call Jane Welcome at (802) 656-3373 or e-mail Jane.Welcome@uvm.edu. During heavy visit times, individual visits may be limited.
Prospective students interested in meeting with an athletic coach during their visit to campus should contact the coach directly. Find team and coach information on the Athletics website.
