If you are ready to pay your acceptance fee, you have the convenience of paying online. To guarantee your enrollment for the fall semester, payment must be received by May 1, 2010*. Acceptance fees received after the May 1 deadline will be considered on a space-available basis only. The acceptance fee is a one-time fee separate from tuition.
*Transfers and students admitted for the spring semester have until the date specified in their acceptance packet to notify us of their decision to enroll.
We encourage online payment to expedite confirmation of your enrollment reservation. You may pay your $450 acceptance fee online by E-check or by credit card (Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Visa*).
Pay your acceptance fee online through our application status check website. Simply login with your UVM ID and password and follow the steps to your admissions decision where you'll find information and links to pay your acceptance fee. The UVM ID is sent to all applicants by mail. If you have misplaced this information, the admitted student may request it by calling the Admissions Office and identifying themselves. Due to privacy restrictions, we are unable to give this information to anyone other than the student. Once you complete the online payment, you will receive a confirmation message and e-mail for your records. Online payment is available until May 1, 2010 at midnight (EST).
*Please note that Visa is not an option for paying tuition and other billed charges.
Complete your enrollment by sending a check or money order with the enrollment reservation card (.pdf) to: Office of Admission, University of Vermont, 194 South Prospect Street, Burlington, VT 05401-3596 (a return envelope was included in your acceptance packet). Be sure to have it postmarked by May 1, 2010.
Acceptance fees postmarked or received after the May 1 deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. The acceptance fee is a one-time fee separate from tuition; it is not a tuition deposit.
Please be sure to notify any other colleges to which you've been accepted that you plan to attend the University of Vermont.
Deadline extensions are granted only if you have applied for need-based financial aid and have not received your financial aid package within three working days of the deadline. Please send an e-mail to the Admissions Office (admissions@uvm.edu) before the payment deadline to request an extension.
If your plans to enroll change before the payment deadline, you may request a full refund of the acceptance fee. After May 1, the acceptance fee is non-refundable. Please send your withdrawal requests in writing to the Admissions Office.
