Admitted Student Visit Days 2013 (ASV)

April 5*, 8, 12, 15 and 19

Check in: Your day begins with a light breakfast and registration at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington (adjacent to UVM). We will shuttle you to campus for our admissions welcome, which will be followed by an academic presentation given by the UVM college or school to which you are admitted.

*Note: April 5 Admitted Student Visit Day is full.

Design your day's schedule: After our academic presentations, you design your day on campus choosing from:

  • Facilities tours
  • Presentations on financial aid, career services and study abroad
  • Open houses in many of our academic departments
  • Residence hall tours — see where you might live first-hand

We want you to experience what it's like to be a UVM student, which is why meeting current students and faculty is a priority in most of the above visit day options.

Manage your visit: See our calendar; make a reservation online; make a reservation by phone (802) 656-3370; cancel your reservation online; cancel/modify your reservation by phone (802) 656-3370.

Find a place to stay

UVM maintains a list of local hotels and contact information. The Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center offers discounted rates for families attending our admitted student program, space is limited.

Please note: The above programs are offered exclusively to admitted students and their families. We regret that we are unable to accommodate individuals on our wait list and others at these events. However, all students are welcome to any of our regular group information sessions.

Can't make it to an ASV?

The ASV provides a full day of academic information, facilities tours and open houses in many academic departments. We strongly urge you to attend one of these events. If this is not possible, we offer Admitted Student Information Sessions (ASIS) on selected dates this spring. The ASIS includes a presentation with an admissions counselor, a student panel and a tour of campus — all tailored to admitted students. The presentation is 45 minutes followed by a campus tour lasting up to an hour and a half.

Our 2013 ASIS dates are: February 25; March 15, 25; April 13, 22, 23, 25 and 27

Manage your visit: See our calendar; make a reservation online; make a reservation by phone (802) 656-3370; cancel your reservation online; cancel/modify your reservation by phone (802) 656-3370.
