Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services
It is very important to provide advance notice around requests for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services for Summer Courses.
Summer Courses often meet everyday for several weeks. Without adequate advanced notice, there may be limitations to securing necessary personnel to interpret, take notes, or caption materials.
Please give as much advance notice as possible about taking Summer Courses to your Specialist in ACCESS.
Accommodations that you and your Specialist determine are reasonable and appropriate should be written into your accommodation letters and discussed with faculty at the first opportunity during the professor’s office hours or by making an appointment.
