Having an early connection with your ACCESS Specialist can be linked to academic success. Your Specialist can work with you directly and individually to:
- Determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations and services - Create awareness of rights/responsibilities - Give information about systems to request and receive services - Provide advisement and advocacy on disability related matters - Consult with faculty and staff
You can get assistance from your ACCESS Specialist by setting up an appointment, sending them an email, or by calling ACCESS.

The RA Recruitment, Selection and Training Committee is specifically holding a session to answer your questions with support from the ACCESS Office on Wednesday, September 30th, at 3:30pm in the L/L Fireplace Lounge.
The RA position allows you to hone your personal leadership skills, function as part of a diverse and invested staff, and meet tons of new people! Here is how to sign up:
Go online to http://www.uvm.edu/residentadvisor read over the position description and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and submit the electronic sign-up for the RA Selection Class by October 9th, 2009 at 3pm.
