Computer science is a constantly growing subject area, with universal economic impact. UVM's Computer Science Department teaches the fundamentals of computation and enables graduates to guide the applications of computers for the benefit of communities, businesses and society.
Computer Science may be pursued either through the university's College of Engineering and Mathematics or the College of Arts and Sciences. Of note: None of the courses targeted at computer science majors allows more than 36 students in a single section. Also see: Computer Science and Information Systems.
