ASCI 215 – Physiology of Reproduction

Course Description: Fundamental principles of the physiology of reproduction with emphasis on, but not limited to, farm animals. Prerequisite: ASCI 141 or equivalent or Instructor permission.

Section Description: The learning goals for this course include: 1) To know which hormones are primarily involved in reproduction 2) To understand how the actions of these hormones are controlled 3) To have a deepened understanding of mammalian reproductive anatomy & physiology 4) To have a broadened perspective about the technologies currently used to optimize reproductive efficiency
