Section Description: This course explores several theories and methods of teaching, learning and assessing knowledge in secondary school. This course is both practical and theoretical in nature and begins with the premise that all teaching methods and practices are rooted in theories about how students learn. Given this premise, we will engage in curriculum development, analysis, dialogue and reflection in order to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to teach, learn and assess knowledge in secondary school.
