Course Description: A comprehensive survey of life span individual and family development within social and historical context.

Section Description: HDFS 005 is a survey of normal development from conception through death. Our focus will be toward major influences on development and the relationships among those influences. We will look at physical, intellectual, psychosocial and interpersonal changes across the life cycle. Students will learn about various developmental theories and their application to the development of self and others.
