In depth analysis of biophysical techniques. Topics: Introductory statistics, optics, microscopy, motility, optical tweezers, FRET, light-scattering, SAXS and electron microscopy (single-particles, 2 D-crystals, helices). Alternate years. Pre/co-requisites: Basic mathematics including matrices, differentiation and integration.
