Methods of teaching mathematics in elementary school. Research base for how children learn mathematics and how math curriculum is organized. Special focus on teaching diverse groupings of learners. Prerequisites: Admission to Elementary Teacher Education Program; concurrent with EDEL 175, 176, 178.
