Bonding, structure, physical properties and chemical reactivity of basic organic functional groups and molecules of technological and biological significance, including carbohydrates, lipids, proteins. Not recommended for pre-medical students. May not be taken for credit concurrently with, or following receipt of, credit for CHEM 026, CHEM 028, CHEM 044, CHEM 141, or CHEM 143. Prerequisites: CHEM 023 or CHEM 031.
