- Students who are not Spanish majors: eighteen credits (six courses)
- Completion of SPAN 052 or above (three credits).
- Completion of five of the following courses: ANTH 161; HST 062 or HST 063; GEOG 156; POLS 174; SPAN 142, SPAN 279, SPAN 281, SPAN 286, SPAN 287, SPAN 293, or SPAN 294; GRS 195 or GRS 196.
- Students who are Spanish majors: eighteen credits (six courses)
- Completion of one of the following courses: SPAN 279, SPAN 281, SPAN 286, SPAN 287, SPAN 293, or SPAN 294.
- Completion of five of the following courses: ANTH 161; HST 062 or HST 063; GEOG 156; POLS 174; GRS 195 or GRS 196.
