Graduate Course Enrollment for Undergraduate Students

Senior undergraduates may enroll for up to six graduate credits at UVM under the following circumstances: courses must be available for graduate credit, total enrollment including the graduate course must not exceed twelve credits in the semester in which the course is taken and the course must not be computed as part of the bachelor’s degree. Permission to seek graduate credit must be obtained from the Graduate College in writing by the dean of the undergraduate college/school in which the student is enrolled. Graduate credit can be used only at UVM if the course is judged appropriate by the student’s advisor for the particular graduate program.
