Specific Requirements

1. Twelve credits selected from the following five courses: ANTH 161; HST 062, HST 063; GEOG 056; POLS 174.
   Two additional semester courses selected from Area and International Studies: GRS 193, GRS 194, GRS 195, GRS 196, GRS 197, GRS 198; HST 161, HST 163, HST 164, HST 262; or from courses recommended by the Program of Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
   
2. Plus six credits of advanced Spanish (SPAN 142, SPAN 279, SPAN 281, SPAN 286, SPAN 287, SPAN 293, SPAN 294).
3. An additional twelve credits from related courses chosen in consultation with advisor.
