Eighteen hours in courses from the Asian Studies listing (see Courses of Instruction; Asian Studies) including at least two courses in an Asian language, and at least one course in each of two other academic disciplines. At least nine credit hours must be at the 100 level or above. For students who have demonstrated fluency in an Asian language relevant to the other courses they have chosen for their minor concentration (for instance, native speakers of the language) the language requirement will be waived, and courses from a third academic discipline will be substituted. |
