CHEM 042 or CHEM 141* or CHEM 143*; GEOL 055** or PSS 161; STAT 141 or STAT 211 or NR 140; ENSC 101, ENSC 130, ENSC 160; BCOR 102*** or CHEM 142**** (or CHEM 144)**** or GEOL 110**; and 14-17 credits of advanced coursework, chosen in consultation with your advisor, in one of the following Focus Tracks: Agriculture and the Environment, Conservation Biology and Biodiversity, Ecological Design, Environmental Analysis and Assessment, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Geology, Environmental Resources, Water Resources. Please consult the program website for up-to-date course requirements in each Focus Track.
Also: BCOR 011 and BCOR 012; CHEM 031 and CHEM 032 (or CHEM 035 and CHEM 036); MATH 19 and MATH 20 (or MATH 21 and MATH 22 ); PHYS 051 and PHYS 152 - Physics is required only for the Environmental Chemistry Focus Track.
College of Arts and Sciences students majoring in the B.S. program in Environmental Sciences are required to take at least 84 credit hours of coursework in the College of Arts and Sciences.
