The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences jointly offer a science-based education emphasizing the application of scientific skills and knowledge in addressing complex environmental problems. The Environmental Sciences major provides students with the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience to identify, analyze, and solve "real world" environmental problems arising from human activities. Students can choose to focus in one of six concentrations: Agriculture and the Environment, Conservation Biology and Biodiversity, Ecological Design, Environmental Analysis and Assessment, Environmental Resources, or Water Resources.
