Students of the college often drop by 438 to visit deans, advisors and other college contacts. The center provides a comfortable spot for prospective students and families to meet our Advocat tour guides and to watch an introductory DVD about the university. Visiting over a holiday? The center's lobby is always open with materials available for visitors. The building is abuzz with students working in its many specialized research facilities in the Aiken Center including a GIS (geographic information system), grow chambers and an aquatic species laboratory, as well as the school's offices and classrooms.
