Health Services

And then, next to Waterman is UVM Health Services. So, you are required to have health insurance when you come to UVM. You can either use the university's or use your own; either way, you can use the services provided at UVM Health Services. And that includes primary care, they have men's health, a women's clinic, they're on pharmacy, and they also have a travel clinic. So, that's where I went before I studied abroad in Uganda and Ecuador. So, I had to go there to get all my malaria pills and vaccines. But the travel nurse there is super awesome. She actually has a map of the world where students put little pins wherever they're studying aboard for the semester, so you can see where everyone else is in the world at the time. Her walls are covered with postcards from where students have been that she's given vaccines to.
