What happens here –The Royall Tyler Theatre is home to UVM's Theatre Department, but was originally built (1901) as a drill, assembly and concert hall, as well as a gymnasium. Several productions are staged here each semester where students get the opportunity to work with professional actors in both classic and contemporary pieces. Royall Tyler boasts that there isn't a bad seat in the house, and students from throughout the university join theatre majors in classes and performances.
