Marsh's 2006 addition (the Carrigan Wing)
Marsh Life Sciences Building
What happens here – The Marsh Life Sciences Building houses biology, zoology, nutrition, food science and plant biology. A 2006 renovation to research space was designed to meet the special requirements of food scientists including walk-in refrigerators, fume hoods in the biochem research labs and much more. The Carrigan Wing is the first project at The University of Vermont to receive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification. This project received a Silver certificaton level.
