The NSF EPSCoR Council of Project Directors was formed in 2007 with elected officers
who interact with the NSF EPSCoR Director to provide input and direction on
the NSF EPSCoR program. Van Houten was elected Vice-Chair in 2007 and became Chair
in 2008.
