The Contact Period in the Northeast was a
time-transgressive
era of sweeping changes. Explore this era of turmoil and trade as documented
in historic and archeological records of Native American, French, English,
and Dutch sites. Presentations by noted Contact Period researchers,
accompanied
by rare hands-on laboratory opportunity to view characteristic artifacts
and replicas.

masterfully replicated Abenaki cultural materials and arts, guided by
historic
documents, illustrations, oral records, archeological examples, and
creativity.
