The Wellness Center Incentive Program is completely confidential, 100% secure, and available 24/7. Be assured: Your personal information remains private, will not be available to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of VT, and cannot be accessed by UVM. A private company (Health A-Z) manages all personal data.
The mission of the Lifetime Wellness Program is to contribute to a healthier work environment by providing UVM faculty and staff with the programs, services, and educational opportunities that effectively promote and support healthy lifestyle choices.
An important measure of any workplace is the health of its employees. Our programs are designed to provide opportunities for employees to develop healthier lifestyles by adopting habits and attitudes that contribute in a positive way to their health and wellbeing.
Wellness is a dynamic process involving the harmony of physical, emotional,
spiritual, social, intellectual, occupational, and environmental wellbeing.
It enables individuals, families, and communities to function to the best
of their ability within their environment. The Wellness Wheel illustrates
the categories of wellness.
The UVM Lifetime Wellness Program was awarded a Governor's Star by the Vermont Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports in the 2007 Vermont Awards for Work Site Wellness.
