Atlas database

The USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center has developed a website that allows Atlas participants to enter their own data and view all verified data, with the following features and capabailities...

• Compare current atlas data with data collected in 1977-1981
• "My Atlas View" allows you to seeof all of your submitted records, effort hours, and block progress
• Download reports of your progress onto your own computer
• New map feature: Generate maps of species distributions!
• New sorting features and new user-friendly data entry
• Coordinators can review and update data within their counties

You need an Observer Code to enter data. You do not need a code to view data from the first atlas (1978-1981). If you have observations you would like to contribute but do not have a Code, please contact Rosalind Renfrew at rrenfrew@vinsweb.org.
