The UVM Transportation Research Center continues a summer tradition and announces its 3rd annual Brown Bag luncheon series.

This year, the center is spotlighting the work of its own researchers and graduate students each Friday. These are informal events that start promptly at noon at Farrell Hall on UVM's Trinity Campus, 210 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, Vt.

Light refreshments are provided and the series is free and open to the public.

Presenters speak for about 15-20 minutes followed by questions and discussion.

"With these brown bag discussions, we are working toward building a community around transportation research and sustainable transportation issues," says Richard Watts, a researcher at the center. "Last summer, each discussion had great turnout, generated lots of interest, and was met with enthusiastic and positive feedback. Our focus is on the conversation."
