9:00 am to 10:00 am
Davis Center 401 (Silver Maple Room)

Be an active participant in helping shape the Planetary Health Initiative at UVM. During this hands-on event, you¿ll learn why Planetary Health has become a leading theme, bringing together our commitment to human health and the health of the environment in a just and sustainable society. Hear about the work happening at UVM and how we can advance UVM¿s distinction in this rapidly growing field.
Using an adaptation of Kate Raworth¿s ¿Doughnut Model¿, Jon Erickson, Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Development & Research in the Rubenstein School, will lead an activity that illustrates the inextricable link between human well-being and the health of the environment, explores the planetary health concept, and allows participants to think creatively about its expression at UVM. This event is open to the entire UVM campus community.
