Minutes From Last Meeting:

     April 16, 2007

*We set up a design for the uniforms. The template can be found at
http://www.champ-sys.com/index.asp?initpage=Price%20list
and we are ordering the tri suits. More on pricing and sizes soon.

*Thursday at 4:45pm we are meeting under the airport to ride the bike course for Sundays
race.

*If you have registered online earlier in the semester for gym credit then you should be
set. If you haven't registered online and still want credit stop by the registrars office,
pick up an add/drop form, go to the registers webpage and look for the tri club number
code, then bring the paper to Jill Moffitt  and have her sign it. (her office is located
in the gym)

*Wear your shirt to the UVM Triathlon...Meeting at the pool at 7:00 am!

*You have 1.5 hours left to register if you have not already.

*Bring me your receipt if you want a reimbursement.

*Spaghetti Dinner Saturday!!! We’re having a pot luck dinner Saturday in L/L
D Low at 6:00pm.  Dan is bringing the pasta and Katie has the sauce covered! Other things
like salad/deserts/bread etc. would be great and please bring your own plate and
silverware!

Spring Race Schedule:

   Saturday April 7'th (this weekend): L'Enfer du Nord, presented by the UVM Cycling
Team. This is a road race held in Burlington. You must register by THIS Friday! To

    Weekend of the 14'th-15'th there is a road race 5 miler called the "14'th Annual
Ammonoosac Amble." We're looking for something a little closer because it is a 2 hour
drive. Let me know if you find another option for this weekend.

    Sunday April 22'nd: UVM Sprint Triathlon!!! Register by April 16'th at:

    The following weekend is the weekend before finals! quick season. We also discussed
meeting up at the North Country Triathlon over the summer. It is June 30'th, an Olympic
distance race at Hague Town Beach on Lake George.

***Please note that any of these races that you participate in you can be reimbursed for
as long as you have your receipt.

Club News

 USA Triathlon New England Division I hope this works

This year UVM Triathlon joined fifteen other New England colleges to race in the NECTC (New England Collegiate Triathlon Conference).   At the end of the season UVM was ranked an impressive 3rd place in the overall standings.  The Men’s Team finished in 6th place, scoring 156.8 points.  The Women’s Team finished 3rd, scoring 300 points.  To check out the final results for the 2006 season visit:  http://nectc.net/results/series_06.php
